Kuch Kuch Hota Hai completed 13 years since its release but the liking for the movie amongst masses is ever increasing. A movie becomes a hit for its story, characters, dialogues, songs and many other factors. But as time passes by it almost becomes a part of everyone’s life.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai falls in the league of movies which is telecasted at least once a week on most of the television channels. People watch it over and over again and they feel the characters of the movie to be a part of their life.
It has changed lives of the people who have worked for the movie and to an extent even of the people who have been an audience to it.
In the movie Rahul (Shahrukh Khan) gave away friendship bands to bond with friends and even with Tina (Rani Mukherji). This turned into a huge trend wave and continues to be a tradition even after 13 years. Love and Friendship all the way! :)

Karan Johar remembers the nervous Kuch Kuch Hota Hai premiere

It’s been 13 years since ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ premiered for the first time on silver screen. This movie was Karan Johar’s debut as a director and just like any other first timer; even Karan went cold feet before and during the movie’s release.
Karan tweeted saying, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai released on 16th October, 1998... 13 years ago... I still remember all 120 kg of myself standing nervously at the premier!!”
It is difficult to believe now that a person like Karan Johar who has such an inspiring personality, can get cold feet and could weigh a whopping 120 kilos. But as wise men say, that “confidence and personality comes with experience”, and no one can explain it better than Karan Johar himself.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai became the biggest hit of the year in India and overseas then it went on to even win the National award. This movie gave a standard dialogue to all the lovers and friends in the world that, “Pyaar Dosti Hai”!! :)

Shahrukh Khan to do a cameo in SOTY

Student of the Year gets the Midas touch in the movie now. Yes you heard it right! A secret source informed us that the Badshah Khan, aka-Shahrukh Khan is going to play cameo in the movie and not only produce it.
Initially Shahrukh Khan was supposed to act in the movie but later that idea was cancelled and he was just going to be a part of the production team for the movie. Now, as per the source it is heard that the Badshah will feature in the much awaited ‘Student of the Year’. If Shahrukh wouldn’t face the camera for ‘Student of the Year’, this would have been the first movie where the King Khan would not be present in a Karan Johar directorial. But as they say, “best friends do everything for each other.”
‘Student of the Year’ stars new comers Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. With Shahrukh Khan’s touch, Karan’s direction and working under Dharma Production it will turn into a dream debut for the three future stars. :)
